Profit Before Tax (PBT): For Q2FY27, profit before tax stood at Rs 572.37 lakh, decreasing by 85.88% QoQ against Rs 4,054.56 lakh in Q1FY27, but marking a positive recovery of 120.63% YoY from a loss before tax of Rs 2,774.78 lakh in Q2FY26; for H1FY27, profit before tax reached Rs 4,626.93 lakh, showcasing an exceptional YoY surge of 3,155.42% compared to Rs 142.13 lakh in H1FY26. Business Highlights & Segment Performance: Production and Outage Impact: Production and earnings performance during Q2FY27 were constrained due to a pre-planned Annual Outage lasting 12 days at the Rajahmundry manufacturing facility, which ran from 17th August 2026 to 28th August 2026. Environmental Compensation Order: On 5th September 2026, the Andhra Pradesh Pollution Control Board issued an order levying an Environmental Compensation of Rs 2,102 lakh on the company due to alleged violations of consent directions. The matter remains sub-judice as the company has formally moved an appeal before the National Green Tribunal (Chennai Bench); based on professional legal counsel, management believes that this obligation is not expected to trigger a probable resource outflow at this stage.
